EdCity x No More Marking: assessing and improving oracy with comparative judgement

This partnership event between EdCity and No More Marking was a chance to explore how comparative judgement is being used as an innovative approach to assessing oracy.

Attendees gained insights into the initial findings from recent assessments and took part in discussions on setting oracy standards, improving oracy instruction and understanding its relationship with literacy.

The event provided practical strategies for assessing oracy at both primary and secondary levels, along with a deeper understanding of the different facets of oracy and how educators value them.
