Power Up campaign builds momentum with community organising workshop

A huge thank you to Citizens UK for delivering such an inspiring and energising session at EdCity for parents and community members involved in Power Up, a leadership programme run by Ark and AllChild.

The workshop is part of a growing community-led campaign that will culminate in a major organising event on 20 October. Led by Power Up’s parent leadership group, the campaign is championing more opportunities for local people to develop new skills, access training and employment pathways, and build brighter futures for themselves and their families.

By bringing people together to share experiences and identify common priorities, the session helped strengthen the campaign and build momentum towards collective action. We look forward to seeing the community come together on 20 October to make their voices heard and drive positive change locally.
